Mario Kart
Introduction
Mario Kart is one of Nintendo's franchise titles. Since it's first
release for the Super Nintendo (SNES), it has improved graphically
but has maintained the same gameplay and fundamental elements.

The latest addition has recently appeared on the Wii. As with it's
previous incarnations there are new sights and sounds, but it's
instantly recognisable as a member of the franchise.
However, it's the first Mario Kart game to incorporate motion sensitive
controls. The game also comes with a steering wheel as an attachment.
The Wii remote simple slots into the centre of the wheel, and the
turning of the wheel will tilt the motion sensors of the remote.
The amount of karts per race has been increased from eight to twelve.
And another first is the introduction of motorbikes. There is still
a limited selection of sixteen tracks, which is slightly disappointing
consider the storage capacity of the DVD media.
The online capability of the game will considerable lend to its
lastability. With 12 online friends or strangers racing at once,
it promises to extend the lifespan of the game by months.
